I’m Neither As Loud or as Quiet As You Think

Absent
the window,
peering out,
but also peering in,
I become myself,
with all the vibrant, loud colours,
unafraid of being quite
too loud to hurt someone else,
simply vibrating the sounds
that emanates from within.
